About DANA

The Derby Area Netball Association is an established netball league in Derby that has been in existence for so many years we can’t remember how many!

The AENA affiliated league operates on a Monday night in 5 different venues – as below.

Two divisions make up the league. The top 5 teams in division 1 are named the Prem teams, when prem teams meet their matches are of 4 x 15 minute quarters and umpires are allocated to these matches. All other games consist of 4 equal quarters with 2 minutes at quarter time and 3 minutes at half time.

All umpires must be qualified. Match times and umpiring commitments are detailed on the fixtures.

Score cards are provided to all teams which must be returned weekly to the league representative.
